The Private Edition: terms of sale and use
Effective October 4, 2026
These terms apply when you buy or use the Private Edition from valuationstudios.com. The Private Edition is run by VIGIL ANALYTICS GROUP LTD, registered in England and Wales, company number 17118935 ("we", "us"), contact support@valuationstudios.com. Please read them before you buy. By buying you agree to them.
1. What you're buying
- The product: the Private Edition is a self-paced online program about applying for spring weeks and internships in finance. It includes video and written lessons, a spring week planner, a CV template and sample test questions.
- No live element: there are no live sessions, calls, one-to-one coaching or community, and none are included in the price.
- Your plan: what's included depends on the plan you buy (Core or Pro), as described on the sales page at the time of purchase.
2. Price and payment
- The price: it's shown on the sales page and at checkout before you pay.
- Founding price: this applies to the first 30 paid purchases only; after that the standard price applies. The counter on the sales page shows real purchases.
- Payment: it's taken by Stripe when you check out. You'll get a receipt by email.
- Access period: it's a one-off payment for access. There's no subscription and no automatic renewal.
3. Access starts immediately, and your right to cancel
- Waiver: before paying, you agree that access to the digital content starts immediately and that you lose your 14-day right to cancel once access begins. This follows the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. We record that agreement and repeat it in your receipt.
- Your statutory rights still apply: if the Private Edition is faulty or not as described, tell us at support@valuationstudios.com. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 we'll repair or replace the content, or, if we can't within a reasonable time, give you a full or partial refund.
- How refunds work: a refund ends your access.
4. Your access and license
- How long: you get access for as long as we run the Private Edition, and for at least 12 months from purchase. If we ever close it, we'll give you at least 60 days' notice and a way to download your planner.
- Your license: we give you a personal, non-transferable license to use the content for your own learning.
- What you can't do: share your login, resell or publish the content, download or record the videos, or use the content to build a competing product. Materials such as templates are yours to use for your own applications.
- Accounts: they're for one person. We may suspend accounts that are shared or misused. If we do, we'll explain why, and you'll get a partial refund where fair.
5. What the Private Edition is, and isn't
- Education, not a promise: the Private Edition is educational content based on its author's own experience and publicly available information. It does not guarantee a spring week, an internship, a fast track or any other outcome. Firms make their own decisions.
- Examples: practice questions are original examples of common formats, not real questions from any firm. We are not affiliated with, or endorsed by, any firm mentioned.
- Not advice: nothing in the Private Edition is investment, financial, legal or careers-regulated advice. Any market examples are illustrative.
- AI tools (Pro, where included): they are for practice only. Some firms prohibit using AI in applications, tests and interviews, and you must follow each firm's rules. The tools give feedback; they don't write applications for you.
6. Your content
You own what you write in the planner. We store it only to provide the service (see our privacy notice), and you can ask us to delete it.
7. Changes to the content
We may update and improve lessons. We won't remove anything that makes up a substantial part of what you paid for without offering a fair remedy.
8. Our responsibility to you
- What we're responsible for: loss or damage that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill.
- What we're not responsible for: loss that wasn't foreseeable, or business losses (the Private Edition is for personal use). Our total liability is limited to the price you paid.
- What these terms don't limit: liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that can't be limited by law, and they don't affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
9. Ending your account
You can ask us to close your account at any time. Closing it doesn't create a refund unless section 3 applies. We may end access if you seriously breach section 4, after telling you why.
10. Complaints
Email support@valuationstudios.com and we'll respond within 14 days.
11. Law
- Governing law: these terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
- Where you can bring a claim: in the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring a claim in your local courts.
